01 Jan New Pattern to Celebrate the New Year!
Welcome 2013! I’m celebrating the New Year with a new pattern ~ Cushy Rib Headband. This free pattern is simple to knit, fun to customize, really warm and did I mention free?
With just a bit of bulky yarn, and a bit of time, you’ll have a headband that will keep your ears toasty warm. The cushy rib is very stretchy and feels like a double fabric. In less than a day you can knit several of these headbands in a variety of colors ~ solid, stripes, variegated – whatever you have on hand. As with my other free patterns, this one includes ideas for customizing and instructions for easy re-sizing.
After releasing this pattern for my newsletter subscribers (Dec 2012 newsletter), I am now making it available to everyone. I hope you enjoy knitting & wearing Cushy Rib Headband!
I wear my headband (the sample in the photo) all the time when the weather turns cooler and I’m out in the barn early mornings & late afternoon tending the goats. At least when I’m not broken ~ darn knee ~ that’s another post. 🙂
Happy Knitting! Jean
