20 Jul Introducing – À Danser………..
It’s done! The legwarmer pattern is now available on my web site. (Ravelry stores are having a few issues today so this pattern will be available there too once the problems are resolved.) The problems Ravelry was experiencing are fixed – so “A Danser” is now in my store there. I am also listing selected patterns, which include this one, with Patternfish. I’ve had some very nice emails with Julia, the site owner and her vision for Patternfish fits right in with the direction the knitting community is going as a whole. Listing my patterns on more than one site give me the opportunity to reach many more potential buyers.
My test knitters reported they really enjoyed knitting this pattern – and gave me thumbs up on changing the name for the published version. The new name – A Danser – is French, meaning “To Dance”. Since this project came from the world of dance the name seems appropriate.
As I got ready to list this pattern, in all the various places, it was clear to me that I need to have a check list for all the tasks involved. One thing affects another so I made a list, in order of what should be done 1st, 2nd and so on. I think this was very helpful and will make a check list part of my routine for future pattern releases.
I’ll leave you today with the picture I chose for the pattern sheet, and invite you to visit Desert Rose Designs to purchase your own copy of this, or any other pattern I offer.
Cheers! Jean
