Now before we get to April we’ve got some more fun things going on………if you’re on Ravelry be sure to visit the Desert Rose Designs group and post your funniest St. Paddy’s Day story by Mar 17th. We’ll be voting with “agrees” for the funniest story – true or not – with a free DRD pattern for the winning story. I love a good laugh 🙂

If any of you are in the Plymouth Meeting, PA area, and are hockey fans – I’m one of the sponsors for the Philly ‘Burbs Stitch & Bitch Second Annual Sticks & Stitches Night. Up for auction will be a certificate good for three Desert Rose Designs patterns, plus there will be a surprize in the goody bags from me. This event is shaping up to be lots of fun…wish I could be there in person.

And we’re getting a KAL going for Celtic Cabled Slipover – yea! When customers ask – designers listen. The KAL will start April 1st so you’ve got time to decide on yarn and buy the pattern if you haven’t already 🙂 I’m looking forward to this since I’ve been wanting to make a slipover for me – just me – to wear – everyday if I want – and a KAL gives me an “excuse” to do some personal knitting. Hope to see you there for this…..it’s going to be fun to see this slipover made up by different knitters. Will there be any duplicate colors, will anyone choose a handpaint or variegated yarn? We’re starting with a thread in the Desert Rose Designs group on Ravelry ~ but if enough knitters want to participate that are not on Ravelry we’ ll start a Yahoo Group. You have to let me know though since my ESP is broken 🙂
