Bayr Pullover ~ New Design Released!

Bayr Pullover ~ New Design Released!

It’s always exciting for me when a new design of mine is released ~ whether it’s self-published or through a publisher. This week, Knit Picks released their Wool of the Andes Fall 2013 Collection, which includes my “Bayr Pullover“.

Bayr Pullover is a fun sweater to knit – nothing hard to stress over. The yoke features a twisted stitch pattern that is easy to work. It also provides enough difference in stitch gauge, from the St st body, to form the inset armholes, providing a better shoulder/upper arm fit than a drop shoulders does ~ without the need for decreasing in pattern.

Also featured is the same cushy rib stitch I used forKeyll Socks“. If you’ve knit these socks you’ll know that “cushy rib” is exactly that ~ ribbing that not only holds it’s shape, but is really ‘cushy’ to wear. It feels like a double layer of fabric but is only a single layer. For Bayr Pullover, the cushy rib is used for the hem, neckline and cuffs.

Here’s a few photos of Bayr Pullover, courtesy of Knit Picks:

Visit Knit Picks web site to purchase “Bayr Pullover” as an individual PDF pattern, or included in the Wool of the Andes Collection book or e-book.

Happy Knitting! Jean
