June 15th has arrived, or will have when you’re reading this….and it’s time for Play Yarn Dash! Did you sign up?

For this Dash I’ve got some specials going – First is the Vallisneria Sock kit, in partnership with Sandrasingh.com – this is the second “official” Play Yarn Dash KAL kit. Just in case you haven’t seen this one….here it is……it’s a top down design suitable for intermediate knitters & up.

Second, I’m holding a random drawing for one pattern from my current line, of the winner’s choice. All you need to do is post a comment to this blog, or sign up for my newsletter (must complete the opt-in process) between June 15th & 30th, 2009 to be automatically entered. The winner will be drawn on July 1st, 2009 and notified by email. May the Luck of the Irish be with you 🙂

    Pretty patterns! And I never would have known of you except through the Yarn Dash.

    (I think the problem with changing servers is that changes your “real” address (a series of numbers) and it takes up to 24 hours for the change to propagate worldwide so that everyone who tries to get to “drdesigns.net” is sent to the proper place. Or, in more technical terms…changing servers messes up the DNS…and it takes 24 hours to fix *that*!)

      Glad you “Played Yarn Dash” and found my site!

      Lol – oh, I know transferring a domain takes a while & can get messed up. While trying to deal with my current host & get my site back up – it seemed transferring would be less hassle. The whole experience was that frustrating. Thank goodness all is well now 🙂

    Thanks for the contest. Started the yarn dash today but can’t get to the Desert Rose website… looking forward to trying again tomorrow.

    Love the socks and wanting to purchase a kit to make some for Christmas gifts.

      Hi Teresa – thank you for your kind words…I found out my web host server went down about 45 mins ago. They tell me it will be back up fairly quickly..crossing my fingers 🙂 Please come back & visit in a while – my June specials are there waiting…..
